LP. Friend Feature | Yvette Mayorga

I was first introduced to Yvette’s work through the 2022 exhibition, Skin in the Game, curated by Zoe Lukov, and produced by Abby Pucker.  I was instantly captivated.

One of the elements of Yvette’s work that I was immediately drawn to is her unapologetic celebration of the feminine while exploring darker themes. Her signature pink, her focus on women, labour, and immigration, and of course, her fully independent art business. She’s a badass.

The LP. is proud to support Yvette’s practice as she challenges systems within the themes of her work, but also within the art sector. Thank you to Yvette Mayorga for also lending her voice and support to the LP., as a panelist in our Spring ’24 salon, as well as through numerous events and programs, and for her friendship.
